Introduction: 

This application allows you to define, input and manage all the information (data and supporting images and documents) for both your product's exterior features and colour packages, as well as its interior Features & Finishes. 

The Features Configurator is integrated with the Content Asset Management, which enables this information to be viewed on the Touchscreens in the sales Presentation Centers as well as the website.

!!  You can’t Layout or Stylize your Exterior and Interior Packages with the Features Configurator (FC). You do this with the Website & Landing Page Builder (WLPB) and the Touchscreen Builder (TB) -if included in your package-.

Get Started

1. Launch the Features Configurator (FC)

1. Go to the project’s Workplace,

2. Under Product Management, find the Features Configurator (FC) and Click on it 

Configure Exterior Color Packages 

!!  It is NOT POSSIBLE to Add Exterior Color Packages to High-Rise Developments

2. Add an Exterior Color Package

1. On the Left-Hand Navigation Bar, select Exterior Color Packages 

2. At the Top Right of the screen, click Add New Package 

3. Enter the Exterior Color Package Information

1. In the Title Field, Add a Title* 

2. Add a Description

3. Or click Bullet List to enter a List 

4. Click Add Image and, from your Media Library, select a Support Image* to display in the Package Detail Page on the Touchscreen or Website

5. Keep the status visibility as Draft and when you are ready to make the information visible on the Touchscreen / Website, click and select Published 

6. Click Add Image and, from your Media Library, select a Thumbnail Image* for this Brick Package 

7. Click the Save button located under Status and Visibility

!! About Uploading to the Media Library: 

If you have not uploaded the Site Plan Images to your Media Library yet, you can upload them now using the Content Asset Management System (CAMS). If you don’t know how to upload to the Content Asset Management System (CAMS), please Follow These Steps. For Optimal Performance, please follow our Asset Preparation Guidelines when preparing your assets.

!! About File Formats and Folders: 

Different Sections of the Bildhive Platform require you to upload files in Specific Formats. When a section requires a jpeg/png Format, only those Folders Containing jpegs/pngs will be Displayed on the left-hand navigation bar. If the section requires pdf format, then only the Folders that Contain pdfs will be Displayed when accessing the Media Library from that Specific Section of the platform.

View and Edit the Exterior Color Packages

Info: About the Exterior Color Package Screen, 

As you create them, your Exterior Color Packages are listed inside the Exterior Color Package Screen. To View the List, and Edit a Color Package, follow these steps: 

4. Preview, Edit, Duplicate or Delete an Exterior Package

1. To go to the Brick Packages Screen, click on Brick Packages on the left Navigation Menu 

2. Locate the package you want to Edit

3. In the Card View, go to the Bottom of the card and click the Three-Dot Action Menu

4. In the List View, go to the End of the Row and click the Three-Dot Action Menu

5. Select Preview to view the Support Image, Edit to adjust the Information, Duplicate or Delete

!!  In the List View, You may need to Scroll Right to see the Three-dot Action Menu.

Info: Switch from Card View to List View.

The Card View displays by Default. To switch to the List View, go to the Top Right of the screen and click the List Icon. In this view, the Thumbnail, the Title, the Description, and the Visibility of each package are Listed. 

Configure Features & Finishes  

!!  IT IS POSSIBLE to Add Features & Finishes to High-Rise Developments. 

5. First Define The Categories in the Category Settings

1. To Define the Categories, go to the Left-Hand Navigation menu, and click Features & Finishes 

2. At the Top of the Screen, click Category Settings 

3. On the Bottom of the Category Settings screen, click Add Category

4. In the Add New Category Pop-up, enter a Category Name

5. Click Create Category

6. Repeat the Process if you need to add More Categories

!! Do Your Different Products Have Different Features & Finishes?

No problem, create Different Categories for products with different Features & Finishes, such as 25' townhomes and 40' singles, and then add the Features & Finishes Items to Each of those Categories.

6. Enter the Features & Finishes Items

1. Once you are done adding your categories, go to the Left-hand Navigation Menu and click Features & Finishes 

2. Then, at the Top of the Screen, click Add New Features & Finishes 

3. Enter a Title* for the Feature / Finish, like Gourmet Kitchen

4. From the Dropdown* menu, select the Category this Feature belongs to

5. Enter a Description 

6. Or click Bullet List to enter a List

7. Under Image*, click Add Image and, from your Media Library, select an Image to display in the Feature / Finish Detail Page on the Touchscreen or Website

8. Keep the status visibility as Draft and when you are ready to make the information visible on the Touchscreen / Website, click and select Published

9. Under Thumbnail Image * Click Add Image and, from your Media Library, select a Thumbnail Image for this Feature / Finish

10. Click the Save button located under Status and Visibility

!! About Thumbnail Images 

Despite being Mandatory to upload a Thumbnail Image, it may or May Not Appear on the main Features and Finishes screen. This Depends on the Design Widget you choose when designing the Website and Touchscreen. Some designs use ONLY TEXT to identify the different features and finishes. Others use Icons or Images. The decision is up to your team.

3. In the Card View, go to the Bottom of the card and click the Three-Dot Action Menu

4. In the List View, go to the End of the Row and click the Three-Dot Action Menu

5. Select Preview to view the Detail Image, Edit to adjust the Information, Duplicate or Delete
