Introduction:
The Condo Grid Configurator (CGC) complements the Condo Unit Configurator. With this application, you create a visual representation of the footprint of each floor and the units within it. In addition, you link floorplans and any other available media to each Unit or Condo Amenity.
!! The Condo Grid Configurator (CGC) does not allow you to Layout or Style your Condo Grid. You do this with the Website & Landing Page Builder (WLPB) and the Touchscreen Builder (TB) -if included in your package-.

Get Started
1. Launch the Condo Grid Configurator (CGC)
Go to the project’s Workplace,
Under Product Management, find the Condo Grid Configurator (CGC)
Click on it

!! STOP. Have you Configured your Floors and Units?
Since the Condo Grid Configurator pulls its information from the Condo Unit Configurator, you Will Not be Able to Use it until you have Entered all of the information there. Once you do so, you see a list of the Floors in your Condo on the left of the Condo Grid Configurator Screen.
2. Add the Floor Plates
To add a Floor Plate, go to the Left Navigation Bar and from the List of floors Select a Floor
Click the Add Image field
From the Media Library, select the Plate that applies to the Floor
Click Select
Repeat the steps for each of your Floors
!! About Uploading to the Media Library:
If you have not uploaded the Floor Plates to your Media Library yet, you can upload them now using the Content Asset Management System (CAMS). If you don’t know how to upload to the Content Asset Management System (CAMS), please Follow These Steps. For Optimal Performance, please follow our Asset Preparation Guidelines when preparing your assets.
!! About File Formats and Folders:
Different Sections of the Bildhive Platform require you to upload files in Specific Formats. When a section requires a jpeg/png Format, only those Folders Containing jpegs/pngs will be Displayed on the left-hand navigation bar. If the section requires pdf format, then only the Folders that Contain pdfs will be Displayed when accessing the Media Library from that Specific Section of the platform.
3. Change / Edit a Floor Plate
If you mistakenly Uploaded the Wrong Floor Plate and you need to Change it, go to the Top Right of the Screen and click Floor Settings
Locate the Floor
Click the Pencil Icon
Select a new Floor Plate Image from the Media Library and click Select
On the Bottom of the Floor Settings Drawer, click Update

4. The Condo Grid Tool Box
Info: Before cutting the units, learn about the Tools in your Tool Box:
Use the Spyglass with a Plus tool to Zoom Into an area
Use the Spyglass with a Minus tool to Zoom Out
Use the Arrow tool to select,
Use the Hand tool to Pan the Floor Plate around
Use the Empty Square tool (Unit Polygon) to Cut Units
Use the Square with Star tool (Amenity Polygon) to cut Amenity Units
Use the Pen tool to Delete an Anchor Point
Click 1:1 To Reset the Canvas Zoom and Re-Center the map
Click on the Image Icon to Update/Change your Floor Plate(s)
5. Configure your First Unit
To Cut a Unit, Select the Unit Polygon (polygon with a house icon)
Click on Each of the Corners of a Unit to add Points
Click on the Start Point to Close the Polygon and open the Assign to a Unit Drawer or click Enter to close the shape and open the Assign to a Unit Drawer
!! Do you need to Adjust the Polygon?
Do one of the following:
To Delete Points in a polygon, select the Delete Anchor Point Pen (pen with a minus) and click on the point that you want to delete.
To Add Points to a Closed Polygon, Click on the Spot where you want to add a point.
To Adjust the Shape of a Polygon, Click on a point and Drag it.
6. Enter Unit Information
Once the Assign to a Unit Drawer opens, Select the Unit Number * from the Dropdown Menu
to Upload a Featured Image * click Add Image to open the Media Library
From the Media Library, Select the Featured Image
click Select
To upload any Additional Media linked to this Unit, click Media
From the Media Library, select the File you want to Upload and click Select
Once the Media Library closes, Click Create, to Save the information
Repeat the Steps with All the Units on Each Floor

!! You Don’t See the Unit you are Looking for?
The dropdown menu lists ONLY the Units that have already been Configured with the Condo Unit Configurator.

7. View and Edit your Units
Info: The units you just created are listed inside each floor On the left-hand navigation bar. To view your units, please do the following:

As you create them, your units are listed inside the Units List. To View your Unit List, and Edit a Unit, Follow these steps:
Go to the left-hand Navigation Bar, and click Condo Floors to display the Floor List
Locate the Floor where your unit is located and Select it
This will Open the Units Drawer where the units you have configured are listed in Ascending Numerical Order
To Edit a Unit, Roll over the Unit
Click the Three-Dot Action Menu
Select Edit
In the Edit Unit Drawer, make the necessary changes
Click Update
Delete Units
8. Delete a Unit From Inside the Edit Unit Drawer
To Delete a Unit when inside the Edit Unit Drawer, go to the bottom left of the drawer and click Delete Unit
9. Delete a Unit From the Unit List
Go to the left-hand Navigation Bar, and click Condo Floors to display the Floor List
Locate the Floor where your Unit is located and Select it
This will Open the Units Drawer
To Delete a Unit, Roll over the Unit
Click the Three-Dot Action Menu
Select Delete Unit
In the Delete Pop-up, click Delete
10. Bulk Delete Units
Go to the left-hand Navigation Bar, and click Condo Floors to display the Floor List
Locate the Floor where your Unit is located and Select it
In the Units Drawer, Click the Square to the left of the Units that you want to Delete
Once your Units are check-marked, go to the top of the list and click Bulk Delete
Click Bulk Delete
To Delete All The Units in the list, click the Square next to Units at the top of the Unit List
Add the Condo Amenities to the Floorplates
Info: You can identify Condo Amenities (such as Gyms, Party Rooms Pools, etc.) in the floorplates and Upload Images or Videos that will Display when the amenity is Clicked on the website, touchscreen, etc.
11. Configure a Condo Amenity
From the Toolbox, select the Amenity Polygon
Click on Each of the Corners of a Condo Amenity to add Points
Click on the Start Point or click Enter, to Close the Polygon and open the Add New Amenity Drawer
Enter a Name* for your Amenity
Enter a Description of the Amenity (optional)
Upload a Featured Image* by selecting it from your Media Library
Upload additional Media, like a Video or Animation, by selecting it from your Media Library
Click Create

!! Do you need to Adjust the Polygon?
Do one of the following:

12. View and Edit the Amenities
Info: About the Amenities List,
As you create them, your Amenities are listed inside the Condo Amenities List. To View your Amenities List, and Edit an Amenity, Follow these steps:
On the Navigation Bar to the Left of your screen, select Condo Amenities
This Opens the Condo Amenities Drawer where the amenities you have configured are listed
To Edit an Amenity, Roll over the Amenity
Click the Three-Dot Action Menu
Select Edit Amenity
In the Edit Amenities Drawer, make the necessary changes
To Save the Edits click Update
Delete Condo Amenities
13. Delete an Amenity From Inside the Edit Amenity Drawer
To Delete an Amenity when inside the Edit Amenity Drawer, go to the bottom left of the drawer and click Delete Amenity
14. Delete an Amenity From the Amenity List
In the left-hand Navigation Menu, select Amenities
In the Amenities Drawer, Roll over the Amenity you want to delete
Click the Three-Dot Action Menu
Select Delete Amenity
In the Delete Pop-up, click Delete
15. Bulk Delete Amenities
Go to the left-hand Navigation Menu, and select Amenities to open the Amenities Drawer
In the Amenities Drawer, Click the Square to the left of the amenities you want to Delete
Once your amenities are check-marked, go to the top of the list and click Bulk Delete
To Delete All The Amenities in the list, click the Square next to Community Amenities at the top of the Amenities List
Click Bulk Delete
