CHAPTER 1: Understanding Lead Flow in Bildhive


Introduction to Lead Collection & Email Management

Effective lead management is key to successful customer engagement. The benefits of Bildhive’s lead collection and email management system are:

  • Efficient Lead Organization – Bildhive structures leads into Parent and Child projects, ensuring clear segmentation and streamlined communication.

  • Automated Lead Flow – Leads are automatically pushed between Group/Corporate (Parent) and Community (Child) projects, reducing manual work.

  • Mass Email Capabilities – Projects can send targeted mass emails to leads within the project, and leads associated with the project through tags.

  • Flexible Unsubscribe Management – Leads can unsubscribe at different levels (Parent or Child), giving them more control while keeping records updated.

About Parent Projects, Child Projects, and Stand-Alone Projects

  1. Parent has other Projects Linked or Connected to it

  2. Group and Corporate Projects are considered Parent Projects

  3. A Group Project is one where several builders participate in a community

  4. Corporate Project is one where one builder groups all its Community Projects together

  5. Child Project is Linked or Connected to a Parent Project

  6. Child Projects are projects that are Part of a Group or Corporate Project


!!  Stand-alone projects (projects that are not connected to other projects)  are neither Child nor Parent projects.


Introduction to Bildhive’s Lead Flow Process


Leads belonging to Parent or Child projects are pushed to the appropriate Parent or Child projects when they enter the system, ensuring clear segmentation and targeted communication.

Depending on the Scenario, leads follow a One-way flow or a Bi-directional flow between Parent and Child projects.


CHAPTER 2: Flow Between Group Projects and Community Projects

Leads Flow One Way

  1. Leads collected through Group Project (Parent) forms/surveys can be pushed down to linked Community Projects (Child)

  2. The Group Project (Parent) sends mass emails on behalf of all linked Community Projects

  3. If a lead unsubscribes from the Group Project (Parent), they are automatically unsubscribed from all related Community Projects (Child)



!!  Your Leads are not flowing from the Parent project to the Child project?

Make sure the form/survey is set up so that the lead is pushed down. Follow these steps. 


!! How to Link Community Projects to Group Projects 

Project owners or the admin people in charge of creating projects should follow these steps:


Unsubscribes Flow Bilaterally

  1. Group Projects (Parent) typically send out mass email communications on behalf of entire Community Projects (Child).

  2. When a lead unsubscribes from the Group Project (Parent), lead will be automatically unsubscribed from Community Projects (Child)

  3. Leads can Opt Out from both the Group Project (Parent) and the Community Project (Child)

CHAPTER 3: Flow Between Corporate Projects and Community Projects

Leads Flow Bilaterally

  1. Leads can be pushed from Corporate Project (Parent) to Community Projects (Child) and vice versa

  2. When a lead submits a form at the Community Project (Child) level, it is pushed up to the Corporate Project (Parent) IF THEY ARE LINKED

  3. Mass email communications can be sent from both the Corporate Project and Community Project

Make sure the form/survey is set up to include Child projects. Follow these steps.



!! How to Link Community Projects to Corporate Projects? 

Project owners or the admin people in charge of creating projects should follow these steps:


Create a Corporate Project with linked Community projects


Unsubscribes Flow Bilaterally

  1. Leads who unsubscribe from a Corporate Project (Parent) are removed from all linked Community Projects (Child).

  2. Leads who unsubscribe from a Community Project (Child) can choose to opt out from either the Community Project or both the Corporate & Community Projects


CHAPTER 4: Examples of Lead Flow Scenarios

One-way Lead Flow: Group Project    Community Projects


!!  HEADS UP: 

When a new lead notification comes through email (assuming the users in FSC are set up to receive notifications), and the user clicks on VIEW LEAD from outside the email (e.g., Gmail), they will be redirected to the lead record, as long as they are logged into the correct account on Bildhive.

Alternatively, if you are logged into a different community account, clicking VIEW LEAD will not bring you to the correct lead.


Two-way Lead Flow: Corporate Project  Community Projects

!!  HEADS UP: 

When a new lead notification comes through email (assuming the users in FSC are set up to receive notifications), and the user clicks on VIEW LEAD from the email (e.g., Gmail), they will be redirected to the lead record, as long as they are logged into the correct account on Bildhive.
